B&B Electric offers a complete array of services related to site and exterior lighting. This includes but not limited to parking lot poles wall pack type security lighting, sidewalk and entry lighting, decorative, building façade and flood lighting, flagpole, and signage lighting. These services cover all aspects from initial design and layout to installation and service. We offer design services that include drawing creation in both AutoCad and Visual formats and 3 dimensional modeling in Visual.

We can provide photometric layouts and modeling to show compliance with requirements for lighting levels, spill light, and energy usage. This is especially critical in today’s design environment due to implementation of Ashrae and IECC energy codes and local government requirements for minimal spill light and the use of full cut off type optics in most applications.

We provide services for completion and submittal of code compliance documentation such as ComCheck, which are required by most Plan review agencies. We take great pride in our layouts beating the energy usage limitations of Ashrae and IECC while providing excellent lighting levels and uniformity.

Another aspect of this type of work is modifying existing installations to improve energy usage and lighting levels. Many times we can retrofit existing fixtures with different lamp types to achieve these results. We can perform a side-by-side comparison with our modeling and layout software to show these improvements. After the design phase, we can go right to work with your installation.

Another aspect of site lighting that is extremely critical is service after the sale and installation. We maintain bucket trucks for servicing almost any type of installation. We maintain a large inventory of lamps and ballast in our stock and have a vast network of suppliers to provide any others that may be required. We maintain an installation log of fixtures for our regular customers that speeds the process of getting your fixtures back in operation.
