Our History
B&B Electric was founded in 1962 by Fred W. (Todd) Brinkman. He concentrated on small to medium sized commercial projects in the central Illinois region and quickly built a loyal and long-term customer base with B&B's hallmark of reliable quality service and fair pricing. His son, Todd Brinkman, joined B&B Electric as an apprentice electrician in 1977, and worked his way to President in 1992. With a legacy of focusing on customer connections and meeting needs, B&B Electric has grown to become one of the largest and most respected electrical contractors in the region.
We maintain our ‘high touch’ with a balance of ‘high tech’ by evolving our services and products to provide innovations that meet our customer’s needs. As a leader in the Design-Build market, we work with customers from concept drawings to final completion. Our emphasis is to be on the leading edge of electrical and data communication technology, which includes certifications and training for our staff as well as the products we install.
